Sleep Hygiene

Getting a good night's sleep is crucial for your health, mood and enjoyment of life. When you don’t get enough sleep, your brain makes cortisol - the stress hormone - and you may start to experience periods of anxiousness or unease. 


As we dip into cooler nights and the fall season - this is a perfect time to log some extra hours of sleep and bring your body back to balance. A few tips:

*Go to bed at the same time every night (ideally before 10pm to help with proper liver detoxification)

*Resistance exercise has been shown to increase sleep efficacy
